According to the airline "Aeroflot", from November 22 it is planned to resume flights on the route Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - Larnaka - Moscow (Sheremetyevo). Departure of the flight SU2072 from Moscow - at 09:50, departure of the flight SU2073 from Larnaca - at 13:50. The flights will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays, the ticket sales are open on the official website of the airline https://www.aeroflot.ru.
According to the airline ′′Pobeda", from December 4 it is planned to resume flights on the route Moscow (Vnukovo) - Larnaca - Moscow (Vnukovo). Departure of the flight DP-825 from Moscow - at 10:05, departure of the flight DP-826 from Larnaca - at 13:25. The flights will be operated on Fridays, ticket sales are open on the official website of the airline https://www.pobeda.aero.
According to the airline ′′Cyprus Airways", from January 21 it is planned to resume flights on the route Larnaca - Saint Petersburg - Larnaca. Departure of the flight CY-412 from Larnaca - at 07:00, departure of the flight CY-413 from Saint Petersburg - at 13:50. The flights will be operated on Thursdays, ticket sales are open on the official website of the airline https://www.cyprusairways.com/.
The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cyprus will continue reception of visa applications by prior appointment only. To apply for a visa, you must prepare the following documents:
1. Passport (and its copy) must be valid for not less than six months after visa's expiration date and has at least 2 blank pages.
Note: All applicants except for citizens of the Republic of Cyprus must submit their residence permits with a period of legal stay in the Republic of Cyprus exceeding 3 (three) months.

3. One recent passport size (35x45 mm) color photograph of the applicant with no headgear or sunglasses glued to the indicated space on the application form.
4. Invitation or other documents which can serve as a basis for issuing a visa to the Russian Federation:
a) For PRIVATE VISA - A letter of invitation issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. (For urgent trips for medical reasons - a certificate from a medical institution).
b) For BUSINESS/ HUMANITARIAN VISA - A letter of invitation issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
For EU citizens – a written invitation from a Russian host entity. The invitation must contain: name, date of birth, citizenship, passport number, time and purpose of the journey, number of entries; for the inviting organization – full name and address, signature and name of the official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia.
c) For WORK VISA - Original letter of invitation issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
d) For STUDY VISA - Original letter of invitation issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
e) For TOURIST VISA - A Confirmation of tourist acceptance stamped and signed by an authorized person.
f) For TRANSIT VISA - Photocopies of tickets to and from the Russian Federation and a valid visa (if required by that country) to the country (countries) of destination. Transit visa is not required for stays in the airport transit zone not exceeding 24 hours.
5. Medical insurance (For the EU citizens on the basis of reciprocity it must be at least 30 000 euro in coverage valid in the Russian Federation for the whole period of the expected stay).
Please note that it is not recommended to buy air tickets to Russia prior application for visa.
NOTICE: Visa applications take from 3 to 20 days depending on type of visa. The processing time may be extended with a relevant notification to the applicant.
On 4th October 2019, Russian visa centre will open in Cyprus. The Russian Visa Center in Cyprus is established to simplify the procedure of applying for Russian visas and to improve the quality of services for Cypriot citizens and other nationals applying for visas to enter the Russian Federation.
This will be facilitated by the modern equipment and software of the Russian Visa Centre, qualified personnel, comfortable offices conveniently located in all major cities of Cyprus — Nicosia, Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca.
The Russian Visa Centre in Cyprus is the only agency officially authorized by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cyprus to accept and process applications for Russian visas on behalf of the Embassy from individuals and organizations, hand over passports with ready visas and provide other services.
Please note that the Russian Visa Centre and its staff cannot influence the decision on a visa application and timing of consideration. The assessment of completeness and reliability of visa applications, the authority to issue (or refuse) a visa are the exclusive prerogative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cyprus.
When submitting the documents, an applicant pays consular and service fees to the Russian Visa Centre. Consular fee rates are set in accordance with the Russian law or applicable international treaties. The full amount of the consular fee is transferred by the visa center to the Embassy. Service fee is a charge for the services of the Visa Center and amounts 30 euro. At the request of visitors, the Visa Centre can provide additional services, the list and the cost of which is be specified on its official website.
